Stephen Ewashko grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, pursuing a professional soccer career from a young age. Opportunities abroad began at the age of 14 beginning in England. His career took him to Santiago, Chile, Mexico City, Mexico, and Munich, Germany among other places – even a brief appearance on a soccer reality TV show in connection with Everton. Unfortunately, injuries and personal challenges put an early end to his career, as he moved on to play college soccer in Canada, winning national titles and personal athletic and academic accolades, while he pursued an education beyond the pitch. He now focusses on helping young players with big dreams, like his younger self, to understand what it takes to make it at the highest level while empowering them to identify what makes them unique, and valuable beyond the sport through his player brand development programs. He believes that football is more than just a game, and we are more than just footballers.
